"Akagi(赤城)" is a one of the famous Japanese aircraft carriers in WWII.

It was named after Mt. AKAGI in Gunma Prefecture in Japan.

Welcome aboard all shipmates from foreign countries

I am Yutaro HONMA (優太郎、本間), a Japenese Akagi modeler.

It is a great fun to introduce this web site to you all. I am doing the Akagi, a model issued by DeAGOSTINI Japan from 23 Feb 2010 to 24 Jan 2012. They had sold weekly magazine with parts of the model for 100 weeks in Japan. A lot of Japanese people try to make it as UK or other countries now.

I have recorded my making logs and put them on the web.but the logs have been written in only Japanese.

The numbers of the logs in table below are linked to my making logs. However there is a language barrier between Japan and other countries, pictures on the logs might be helpful for people who does not understand Japanese.

I hope you enjoy my making logs and your build.
